PTA Committees

Horsemen PTA committees are formed to address specific areas of need and to create sustainable change in our schools and community.

Community Wardrobe is a joint effort of the Horsemen PTA and the Village of Sleepy Hollow that finds new homes for good clothes FREE to local families who need them, in a dignified, boutique setting.

The Horsemen PTA's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is dedicated to ensuring that the diverse community of families are represented in the PTA and that all PTA initiatives, activities and events are inclusive to all families within the district.

HeadsUp Horsemen fosters screen-smart habits in our community by advocating for research-backed, child-centered tech policy in school and providing education and resources for families.

Rivertown Parents is comprised of the parent-teacher-student associations of the Rivertown school districts (Tarrytowns, Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley, Hastings) and Mercy College. We foster communication in the Rivertowns among parents, children, and their schools, and provide educational resources to the community.

Special Needs Committee

The Horsemen Special Needs Committee (SNC) is dedicated to sharing information regarding the individual needs of all learners. Our mission is to help every child reach his or her potential.
