Fundraisers
PTA fundraisers happen throughout the school year. The Fun Run is our most successful fundraiser and where we prioritize our efforts to promote and encourage the involvement of parents and caretakers in supporting the PTA. While our other fundraisers also generate revenue and serve our students and families, our primary goal is to provide opportunities for families to connect and contribute without pressuring participation. Many PTA events are not posted as fundraisers but instead promote school spirit including our annual Horsemen Spirit Wear sale, a love of books at the bookfairs, a class memory with photo day, a keepsake art print with Art to Remember, or simplified school supply shopping with School Toolbox. Below is a quick look at the largest income and expenses that our organization manages. For a complete look please click on the budget link at the bottom. We are a completely volunteer organization. All of the funds raised are used to continue the work of the PTA and put back into our schools.

Fall Fundraisers
Boosterthon Fun Run is our biggest fundraiser for K-5 students with a fundraising goal of $50,000 including corporate matches.
-
All students participate regardless of donation
-
All students get a PTA prize
-
All students can get a Booster prize just for registering (no money needed). Students can also win class prizes during registration challenges and there is a whole school prize performed by principals for meeting our goal.
-
The PTA keeps 80% of the profits. The other 20% goes to Boosterthon for the character education program, prizes, pledging platform, technical support, and ad campaign and day of supplies like music play list and pom poms.
Spirit Wear is a service we offer, not a large fundraiser for the PTA. $900 was raised from Spirit Wear this year
Photo Days (elementary and middle school) raised approximately $5000. The PTA works with a photography company that provides class photos for all students even those who don’t order a photo package, 10 scholarships per building for free photos for students identified by the social worker, and photo id pictures for school.
